Resourcing Requests

Resourcing requests are a formal way of asking people for your projects. You can create resourcing requests in two different ways:

1) Requests > Add a Request

The rest are optional fields - note that you can also add competency requirements for your requests if you wish.

2) Allocations > Create a Resourcing Request

Create a resourcing plan for a project role:

In this example we have both tentative and confirmed allocations

Hover over the desired project role, click on the ellipsis icon and create your resourcing request based on the resourcing plan:

Allocation actions
This will create a pre-filled resourcing request based on the project role's resourcing plan. In the opening make sure the details are correct and click Make a request.
You can choose the acceptor and write a note if you will

Afterwards the request will be shown in the Requests > Listing view.
By first clicking 'Open Request' and then clicking 'Accept Request' we can finalize the resourcing

We can immediately see the changes in the Project's Dashboard, as well.
The CEO row (which we requested) consists of confirmed allocations (no more stripes)

Viewing All the Current Resourcing Requests

In the main navigation bar's Requests > Listing  you can see and manage the list of requests. Acceptors can approve or reject the request and also update the resource plan by clicking Allocate request.

This feature is not enabled by default. Admins of Silverbucket can activate it in the admin view under the System Settings tab.
